Where it applies

A coupon goes on a line, not on the bill

Most tools take a percentage off everything and call it a day — including the things you never meant to discount. Here the code goes where you point it.

  • Discount the one thing you’re clearing and leave the rest of the bill at full price
  • Two lines on the same bill can each carry their own code
  • The old price strikes through, so the customer can see exactly what came off
The shape of it

Generous, but not unbounded

A discount is only a good idea until it takes a thousand rupees off the wrong sale. Put a floor and a ceiling on it.

Flat

A straight amount off. ₹50 is ₹50 — nothing to work out at the counter and nothing for the customer to argue with.

Percentage — with a ceiling

Take 20% off, but set a Maximum Coupon Value so the same code can’t take ₹5,000 off your biggest sale of the month.

A floor to go with it

Set a Minimum Cart Value and nothing comes off until they’ve actually spent enough to make the discount worth giving.

Targeting

Who gets it, and on what

A code that everyone can use on everything isn’t a promotion — it’s a price cut.

Pick the customers

One buyer, a handful, or everybody. Leave the list empty and the code is universal — the form says it out loud: “Ignore If Coupon is Universal”.

Pick the products

Tie the code to the things you’re actually discounting, so it can’t wander onto the items you sell at full price.

First order only

A welcome code that works once and then steps aside — you’re buying a first sale, not discounting a regular forever.

How many

Only so many, and you can see them go

“First hundred customers” only means something if it actually stops at a hundred. Give the coupon a count and it does.

  • Turn on tracking, give it a number, and it takes itself out of circulation when it runs out
  • Every use is written into the coupon’s own history — the same credit and debit ledger your products keep
  • Want to extend the run? Credit more in. You don’t have to make a new code and re-tell everyone
Online

Your customers can use them too

Put a code on a poster or in a message, and let people redeem it themselves.

They type it themselves

A code box against each line in their cart, an Apply button, and the discount shows up in green against the item they used it on.

It lands in the total

The discount goes straight into the order summary, above the GST breakup — so the tax is worked out on what they actually pay.

The same rules apply

Who it’s for, what it’s on, the minimum spend, how many are left — the rules you set hold online exactly as they do at the counter.

Stopping it

Pull it the moment you want to

A promotion that went further than you meant it to needs one thing: an off switch that works this second, not tomorrow morning.

  • Revoke a code and it stops dead — at your counter and on your storefront, at the same moment
  • Changed your mind, or pulled it by accident? Make it active again and it carries on
  • Every order keeps the code that was used on it, so you can always see what a sale was discounted with

Coupon questions

Can I set an expiry date on a coupon?

Not yet — you can't schedule a coupon to switch itself off. What you can do is revoke it, and that takes effect the moment you click it: the code stops working at your counter and on your storefront straight away. If you change your mind, make it active again and it picks up where it left off.

Can I discount just one item on a bill?

Yes — that's the way it works here. A coupon goes on a line, not on the whole order. Discount the one thing you're clearing and leave the rest of the bill at full price. Two different lines can even carry two different codes.

Can I stop a percentage coupon taking too much off?

Yes. Set a Maximum Coupon Value alongside the percentage and that's the most it can ever take off, no matter how big the sale is. A 20% code with a ₹200 ceiling takes ₹200 off a ₹5,000 line, not ₹1,000.

Can I limit a coupon to certain customers or products?

Both, and independently. Name the customers who can use it, name the products it applies to, or leave either list empty to mean everyone and everything. You can also require a minimum cart value before it applies at all.

Can I limit how many people use it?

Yes — turn on tracking for the coupon and give it a number. First hundred customers, then it stops. Every use comes off the count, and if you want to extend the run you add more rather than making a new code.

Can customers apply coupons themselves online?

Yes. On your storefront they enter the code against the item in their cart and it applies straight away, with the same rules you set — eligibility, minimum spend, and how many are left.
